How to Stabilize Revenues out of Power Generation

BSE Engineering is conducting a special module on small-scale methanol plants at the IHS Markit Methanol Training Workshop taking place on Friday, 29 September 2017 in Berlin.

As revenues from power produced in waste incineration plants shrinks and demand for maximizing flexibility of must-run boilers increases, storing power and stabilizing revenues become important considerations.

One option is to use power to produce methanol for the transport sector.

Using CO2 from waste gases with hydrogen, methanol can be produced for use in the transport sector as an advanced fuel. This premium market has the potential to generate up to 60euro/MWh at the generator.

In this technical module by BSE Engineering held as part of the Methanol Training Workshop, leading companies will present the technical readiness of each process steps.
